Welcome to North Fulton Regional Hospital’s web page. Our service area – North Fulton, Forsyth, East Cobb, East Cherokee and West Gwinnett counties – is one of the fastest-growing areas in the country. To meet the challenge of providing health care to such a dynamic region requires a commitment to service, quality, cost, people and growth. We are prepared to meet this challenge in a manner “where caring comes first.”
Our hospital has grown steadily since our founding in 1983 on a 47-acre plot of farmland between Roswell and Alpharetta. Today we are a 202-bed hospital designated as a Certified Primary Stroke Center with an inpatient rehabilitation program, level II adult trauma center, women’s health service with neonatal intensive care unit, and a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services designed to meet the needs of our community.
The summer of 2006 was one of excitement as we kicked off a campaign of growth and completed renovations of our Emergency/Trauma Unit. This venture included expanded ER parking, 3,000 additional square feet on the unit, the addition of 10 more exam rooms, and an expanded waiting area. 2007 also did not disappoint as we completed a state-of-the-art patient tower that includes a 28-bed critical care unit, 42 new patient rooms and a kidney dialysis unit. These expansions combined with numerous technological and equipment upgrades allow us to continuously deliver healthcare of the highest quality.
We pledge to support our community with quality medical care, just as our community has supported us since our inception. Working together, we can make this an even better place to work and live.
Sincerely,
Joe Austin, Chief Executive Officer
