Susanne Slocum, RN, Director of the Surgical Unit at NFRH

     North Fulton Regional Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of two new directors to the hospital team. Susanne Slocum, R.N., will serve as the new Director of the Surgical Unit, and Cindy Walker, R.N., steps up to the plate as Director of the Rehabilitation Nursing Unit.

     Prior to her employment at North Fulton Regional Hospital, Susanne Slocum served in various positions at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, including Manager of Cardiovascular Prevention Programs and Manager of the Neurovascular Unit. Prior to these roles, Slocum spent five years as a surgical unit staff nurse.

     Slocum is a graduate of the Emory University School of Nursing where she received a bachelor’s degree. She also has a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

	Cindy Walker, RN, Director of the Rehabilitation Nursing Unit at NFRH

     Cindy Walker joins North Fulton Regional Hospital following her work as Director of Healthcare Services with Somet Care in Atlanta. She previously served as Director of Professional Nursing Development at Piedmont Hospital and prior to that, Director of Neuroscience Services/Stroke Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital.     

     Walker is a graduate of Bellevue University where she received both her bachelors and masters degrees in healthcare administration. She entered nursing through LaGrange College’s nursing program.
