In a continuing effort to address the community’s need for additional physicians and specialists, North Fulton Regional Hospital is proud to announce the relocation of Mark L. Gravlee, MD to the Roswell area. 

     Dr. Gravlee is a board certified General Surgeon who has over 15 years of experience providing quality care and treatment to patients in Georgia.   Dr. Gravlee is relocating his practice from Dalton, Georgia where he was on active medical staff with Hamilton Medical Center and Murray Medical Center.  While practicing in Dalton, he focused much of his practice working with patients with cancer of the thyroid, colon and breast. 

     In addition to his work with cancer patients, Dr. Gravlee is certified to perform laparoscopic surgery for patients needing procedures such as appendectomies, ventral - more - and hiatal hernia repair, nissen fundoplication,  colon surgery, gallbladder and abdominal surgery.

     An Alabama native, Dr. Gravlee studied medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.  He completed his general surgery internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center and his residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.  He is a past Chairman, Department of Surgical Services for Hamilton Medical Center and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. 

     Dr. Gravlee is presently accepting new patients in his Roswell office, located at 11685 Alpharetta Highway, Suite 320.  He accepts most insurance plans including United Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and HMO, United American, AETNA PPO, Multiplan, Evolutions, Nova Net, Three Rivers, Coventry HMO, Beechstreet and Humana.
