ALL WORK AND NO PLAY? NOT HERE.
The act of volunteering provides many with a sense of well-being and purpose. It’s a chance to selflessly give of one’s time for a good cause and can do wonders in helping people appreciate what they have and the people that surround them. It can be hard work, but thankfully there are plenty who enjoy helping others.
The volunteers of North Fulton Regional Hospital enjoy not only the important work they do at the hospital but also the social opportunities that come along with being a part of the organization. On Friday, March 7, the group will meet at Brookfield Country Club for a festive luncheon and fashion show, presented by Chico’s. This activity, set for 11:30 a.m., is but one of many the volunteers enjoy throughout the year. Other events include the annual holiday pot luck meal and Breakfast with Santa.
The luncheon and fashion show is open to anyone in the community who wants to join the fun. The cost is $25 per person. For more information contact Becky Stiles at 678-393-9625.
